The Director

Farouq Mengal started his career in direction from Pakistan Television Network in 1998. Since then he has made his mark on the television industry with his flair for innovation and creativity. His productions bear his signature style -- a touch of glamour and elegance offset by a strong story-line. With 30 serials and 40 telefilms to his credit, Farouq has managed to maintain consistency in his creative endeavors  that has earned him nominations every year in a style awards.

As part of his creative endevours, Farouq set up FM Productions  as an organization that has become an integral part of the entertainment industry in Pakistan. And with FM Films and its maiden venture Hijrat,  the director/producer has set himself up in a position of prestige and a reputation for pushing the boundaries of the industry standards.
